Several clients have asked for more information about holiday cards, so I thought I'd go ahead and post more details and a few additional design samples. The good news is that the design and ordering process for holiday cards is pretty easy. If you decide that you'd like holiday cards from your recent session, please contact me at 703.447.0834. We'll discuss your favorite card designs, the image(s) that you'd like to include, and a greeting for the inside of your cards. I'll do a mock-up with your chosen photo(s) and email you so that you may view your card proof. We can do any necessary changes and then I'll send the cards off to the printers. Cards come in packs of 24 and there is a small discount on additional packs of the same design as the first. I hope that helps everyone who is considering holiday cards this season. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions at all!

Julie & Steve - Wedding at King Family Vineyards, Crozet
Ceremony and Reception: King Family Vineyards
Dress: Jim Hjelm
Flowers: Pats Floral Designs
Julie and Steve were married on a beautiful vineyard near Charlottesville this September. I had the pleasure of photographing this wedding alongside one of my favorite photographers, Meg Runion, who actually shot my own wedding this past summer. Though I know we were all hoping for a sun-filled day, the weather just wasn't quite ready to cooperate. But the rain certainly didn't bring any spirits down! This fun-loving group had me smiling behind my lens the whole day and well into the night.

Children's Session - Twin Boys
I never realized I'd enjoy myself so much trying to hold a camera still while running after a couple of absolutely adorable two year old twin boys. These two had bundles of energy and an endless amount of sweet smiles. Here are a few images I managed to capture as we played our way around Carlyle House Park in Alexandria.

Family Session in Bishops Garden
I am always very honored when another photographer asks me to photograph her family. We did this session in Bishops Garden behind the National Cathedral. I had never been there before, but it's such a great little spot! The weather cooperated perfectly and I had such a fun time getting to know this family!
